Damn it, don't make me bring out any one of the many awful Comic book Whiplash costumes to remind you that he's NEVER LOOKED GOOD.
Actually, honestly: There really isn't a single Iron Man villian they can bring out that doesn't suck. his villians make Spider Man's look inspired by comparison.
@Scaramanga9: You know, one thing I always liked about IM was that he didn't actually have superpowers (kind of like Batman, just really rich, really brilliant guys). Extremis kind of ruined that for me and I dropped it soon after.
I hope it's better than the SF movie HIGH PLAINS INVADERS that James Marsters was just in on SyFy. I caught the last 20 minutes of it and saw everyone shooting with late 20th Century stainless steel double action revolvers. C'mon, people, it's not that hard, at least make an effort. Even FIREFLY made an effort to make their laser pistols look like single action revolvers just for the old west look.
@J_Frank_Parnell: Be careful, we also got aliens + Indy, and look how that turned out. Ninjas are fine doing what they do best - fighting robotic zombies.
Wow, I think Anne Rice needs a rapid response team. There are some bizarre urban legends repeating in these comments.
All of this is less than a Google away:
1. She only writes the religious fiction now. That doesn't mean she thinks her vampire books are the work of the devil or something. I think religion is crazy as hell, but even I find the stereotyping of Christians in these comments offensive.
2. She did NOT become sort of weird-ass right wing book burning crazy when she converted. She obviously still loves her other books and last time I saw anything about her politics, she was explaining why she was in favor of gay marriage and why she was endorsing Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries.
3. She did NOT hate the Interview movie. She recorded an intro for the video release that was nothing but praise. Anyone who's ever even seen the thing on DVD should know this.
4. She hated the casting of Tom Cruise (as he wasn't the type,) until she saw a screener of the movie, and thought he was great. (I, for one, also hated the casting until I saw it.) She took out a full page ad in trades to offer her approval BEFORE it was released, after she saw the screener. Could her disapproval and then reawakening have been a publicity stunt? I suppose so. But it's not as if the movie was a hit and she suddenly changed her mind to cash in after the fact.

This just makes me wish they had done Ellis' Extremis storyline instead of the first film.
