I LOVED the Micronauts comics, especially how Marvel managed to get them tied in with the rest of the MU. As well, as with the other franchise properties like Star Wars and the original BSG, they had some great talent working on it - Mike Golden initially, and Jackson (Butch) Guice in the later issues.
Man, I didn't even know there were Galaxy Rangers toys! I loved the hell out of that show. They just released the whole thing on DVD this year, and I was pretty happy to learn that unlike many things I loved in my childhood, it actually was pretty damn good, and often outright excellent.
@Stormy151:
The problem with ROM is the same problem they had with the large size Indiana Jones or the original Alien toy (don't believe me? check out the video) - they made no other figures. You can only do so much by having ROM fight Ken from Barbie or whatever.
The Micronauts went the opposite direction, with an insane amount of toys with interchangeable parts. God, I loved Micronauts.
Anybody else remember Big Jim, the GI Joe ripoff? Man, I'm old.
@Zyg: I own the entire run of the comic. It wasn't always great, especially near the end, but for much of it was fantastic. The premise for those not aware is that a black magic-practicing offshoot of the Skrulls named the Dire Wraiths have fled to Earth after having a war with Rom's planet. They have infiltrated, disguised as humans. Their particular brand of black magic is quite weak on Earth so they're quietly taking over by posing as humans. Rom is a human man who was transplanted into a cyborg body for the intergalactic war, he arrives in rural West Virginia and starts "death raying" the locals. People think he's a killer robot but he's actually there trying to rescue humans.
There was a wonderful blend of mistaken identity, 50s sci fi chiller, and classic Marvel weirdness going on.

oh, Captain Planet looks like Crystar the Chrystonian BTW
I also like how Robot Chicken has done a little skit on pretty much all teh above noted cartoons/comics (except zoids)

It's also pretty funny that today we actually have the technology to build one wheeled bikes like they use in Spiral-Zone:
Okay, maybe not exactly like those. XD

MASK kicked so much ass when I was a kid, loved that show and the toys. Galaxy Rangers was a good show too.
