    Syfy has started a new trend in there scripts called "We killed them... NOT!"

    ..and I was thinking they were testing Will in some strange ARG at first. The "you are suppose to replace her" line was the trigger.

    I didn't buy for a minute that the Big Guy was dead so I suspected someone was setting her up. I just didn't guess it was Magnus herself. I thought Declan was still running the London Sanctuary so why is he spending so much time in Magnus' Sanctuary?

    Looks like next episode is the James Bond/Die Hard cool one.

    I liked season 1, but I couldn't get through 20 minutes of season 2. I already get plenty of light and fun from Eureka and Warehouse 13.

    I think what we see here and what was actuall said in sign language were actually to different things.

    Heres what Lagoon man was REALLY saying:

    'Hey you sack of skin. I dont care if that mentle blonde form Stargate runs this joint. If you dont let me out of here im going to rip your f****n head off'.

    'Oh and please do something about my face...I look perminantly constipated!!'

    I have the script at home. It makes for hillarious reading!! #sanctuary

    I'm still wondering how I got sucked into this show.

    It would be nice if they could bring in some banter on episodes like this. The difference between a dull procedural and a hot show is often just well written dialog. Embrace it Sanctuary! #sanctuary

    Yeah, it was kind of bland.

    Kate's growing on me. I liked Ashley but at least Kate isn't lugging around Mommy and Daddy issues.

    I like the abnormal poker game idea. Henry, the Big Guy and a few other abnormals have weekly poker games in the Sanctuary's basement. Helen's Victorian attitudes make them play in secret so they have to scatter if she's around. #sanctuary

    I thought it was a step in the right direction, story-wise. Everythime Kate spoke, I didn't mentally cringe and wish Ashley was back. I figured out who did everything before they did but I know Sign Language and it kinda helped. And Henry is my favorite character so the episode is okay with me. When I do my "Top Awesome Henry's Moments" marathon, I will include this episode. #sanctuary

    Punishingly awful. You would think that the money they are saving by using 99 cent store plastic teeth on Ashley they could at least afford some decent CG and writing. Jeez, you have freakin' Tesla and Jack The Ripper on the show and they are reduced to semi-witty banter and standing around looking ponderous.
    At least Flash Gordan was enjoyable. This show is just bad.

    Am I the only one who thinks I might just enjoy a show called "Cabal" who's stars occasionally tussle with people from "The Sanctuary" a lot more than the other way around?

    The writing is so terrible on this show; I must be a glutton for punishment. Does buy the attitude or dialog of anyone here. For example during the car chase? "I'm home, baby"?

    In any case, do not hesitate to do recaps of Vampire Diaries. I'm surprised (although, although as a man, embarrassed) how good it is. This one isn't surprising me, except for that episode in the submarine.

    The CG on Sanctuary..Sanctuary looks best when the sets are real. At any other time, the depth-of-field is strange and the virtual sets do not make sense. Example, why do they have conversations in the middle of that large circular room what is apparently their 'laboratory'? (The AC wall plugs must be 20 meters away!) The Cabale's laboratory, by comparison, was an actual set - and therefore not distracting. They do seem to have a new, better, cg 'castle' this year.

    Eventually, 'cheeze' not so much a factor of budget but of lack of the taste of the producers. You have to know to drop effect you can't really do it or are not central to the story. You have to see, hey this dialog is stiff, etc.

    I saw the entire first season and I thought that the show might have some potential. I watched the second season's premiere and I'm more than ready to stop watching. As much as I like the cast, there doesn't seem to be anything really interesting in this show anymore.

    BUt they didnt just turn around and walk to the window. it was turn around and walk like a cardboard cutout of the matrix movie forward.

    it was... i dont know... something different. It was diffidently a scene that you could use to cut into the opening credits or promos.

    but i like this show.

    will watch again.
