    Man that shot from the Descent was killer. I remember watching that on a DVD in London before it came out here and all I knew about it was that it was about a cave trip gone wrong. I had no idea there were creepycrawlies in it so that more or less made me shit myself and then of course, in the American ads and trailers they show that shot totally ruining a massive plot turn.

    Spiral may tip too far into straight horror, but the sight of the boyfriend stuffed in the washing machine, twisted around the impeller, creeped the bejeezus out of me.

    The ring, where the girl climbs out of the TV. I was on medication when i saw that and hadn't slept for days. When I got home from the theater that night I removed the TV from my bedroom D:

    @turniptable: !!!

    After I saw that movie (an 11 o'clock showing, so my roommates and I got home around 1 AM), I was all jittery. I tried to go to bed, and while I was lying there, staring at the ceiling, my roommates pulled the cable out of the back of the television, and then turned it on with the volume at full.

    So, just a big sound of static "xxxssshsskkkkshssshshxxxsshs."

    I lost my mind.

    @braak: After I saw The Ring, I walked the four blocks back to my apartment (this is when I lived in Palm Springs) and a pack of crazy coyotes stalked me for about three of those blocks.

    I thought they would eat me fo sho.

    No Pan's Labyrinth? Everything in that movie freaks me out (even the insectoid faeries), but the Pale Man? Things with big-ass teeth but no eyes (or eyes in unusual places) freak my shit out.

    Nothing from Day of the Triffids is scary. Monster plants... anyone that gets iced by them deserves it.
