These things are cool, but I wouldn't call $50K "cheap". They're really more like cabins than houses, and not all that mobile unless you have the helicopter that was intended for transport... They're pretty dang wide for towing.

The Jitterbug Atom (#6) reminds me of the movie Demon Seed, where the supercomputer Proteus uses wedge shaped blocks to kill.

Nooo! I wanted a Buckminster Fuller diagram! Damn you rich nerds!

It wouldn't surprise me if those 3-eyed aliens from the Toy Story movies lived in that house in the first picture.

I'd have the Bucky blueprints in an instant, but I like my UFOs to have wheels or at least feet, rather than a couple of I-beams and a pile of planks...

@hamshank: The "I-beams and a pile of planks..." is the trailer you would need to move it. Here it is installed.

@Gann: Ha... Space Needle seemed too obvious. Plus, I was thinking of doing a gallery of rocket ship buildings, and it would have fit in there. But I ran out of time, plus four galleries seemed enuf.

@Charlie Jane Anders: I drive by that pegasus trek theme park all the time (It is now closed). It sits next to a little neighborhood built by the monolithic dome institute:

Next to it is a cute multi-domed caterpiller structure:
