I think if DC really wanted to make this book something to be proud of, they would bring back Keith Giffen as artist, rather than pulling in a musician to write what is essentially a screenplay. Hopefully Keith will ignore most of the script and go his own way; any time he's required to draw monsters, the results are worth looking at.

[If I wasn't making music] I think I'd be writing comic books for a living, full-time. I have a bit of that going on already with the comic book character Lobo.

You know, I know so many teenagers who say this and write terrible basement comic books about vampire detectives and angels fighting demons, that when an actual adult says it, I'm pretty astonished by how boring his mind must be.
