    Well, how important were the medeival Japan settings of Kurusawa's Shakespeare re-makes?

    I'd say setting is an important part of a movie, and many different movies are the same story if you boil them down hard enough.

    @chuffhoncho: I appologise. It was called 'The Last Broadcast'. A film which spends most of its time wondering weither or not a particular chap is responsible for killing people in the Jersey woods. Airtight case....or was it!!! Its very intresting and very convincing Mocku-footage! And YES!!! it also involves the Jersey Devil!! Heres a trailer. #paranormalactivity

    I'm guessing "Daniel Hoffstetter" was named for Douglas Hofstadter -- the author of Gödel, Escher, Bach, the classic book about cognition, identity, and artificial intelligence.

    Hmm, interesting. Kind of sounds like an 80s/90s Arnie flick. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I love those movies in their unabashed cheesy yet at the same time thought provoking way.

    I think this works better for the story than to have degenerate into hooker of the week, though some of that may be due to Fox's trying to sell the show as a fantasy girl for hire series.

    @EBone: You actually do see his body. The Predator lays it face down against a tree (right up into the camera) then reaches down with his finger claws, digs in, and pulls out the spinal cord and skull.

    @Cyprusbill (R.O.A.C.H.): I had forgotten that, since the scene is cut out of the TV-sanitized airings. I can't flick away from Predator when it's on TV. Time to break out the DVD.
