    The word is "maquette." Marquette is a city in Michigan.

    Ha ha... Meredith, I'm assuming you put that particular picture up on purpose, but it's still hilarious to me that only about .05% of the comments have anything to do with the actual film.

    This is worse than the time I said that asshole comment about the Leia cosplayer; the males on this site are just fascinated by the boob content.

    With one thing and another I never really watched SG-1 when it was broadcast in the UK but I did manage all the Atlantis'. I've just started watching SG-1 from the beginning and I'm just into season 4 and I really haven't noticed her boobies being that big. Is this extrapolation something I have to look forward to?

    @dOk: I have large ones so I know how they look. In that picture they are too pointy to be that low. When they sag, they are more rounded. And her's are not that large. Supposedly she is only a 34B. That is not large.

    And all I am saying is that this picture sucks and if you want a good photo of her, IMDB has a very nice one of her wearing just a white suit jacket with one button.

    Season one of SG-1 is on Hulu.com for free right now so that is the obvious first choice. The show gets better from there until season 4. In season 5 they went from Showtime to Skiffy. The show stayed good but not as great. Then in season 9 they took a huge crap on the whole thing. Season 10 continued the crapfest. So stop watching after season 8.

    I have only watched season one of Atlantis but so far it is pretty good.

    @Willow01: I watched it. And yes, the Ori story line had potential, but wasn't executed well. I don't know. The whole thing just didn't come together for me. Especially with the replicator sub-plot. We had to lose the Asgard for that, then they bring it back? Blar.

    Does it come with a little Thor figurine modded from a Lego-person?

    I like the effort. But this design looks monotonous. Where's the giblets? (I think I've got the wrong word. What's that term used to denote all the detail given to scifi ships and such?)

    The word you're thinking of (at least in terms of LEGO construction, if not in a more general sense) is some variation on "greebles", or "greebling". Mention that term to an AFOL, and they will know exactly what you mean.

    Asgard ships still do have certain embossed texture which is tough to represent with Legos, perhaps.

    @Torley:
    Maybe with traditional studs-up brick and plate construction, but a working knowledge of SNOT (Studs Not On Top) construction techniques and some of the more useful decorative elements, you'd be surprised what can be accomplished in that same scale. It should be possible to build that ship, at that same size, without a single LEGO stud being visible anywhere on the surface of the ship. It would probably increase the cost to build, and the piece-count would skyrocket, but any intentional texture wouldn't be muddied up by the grid pattern formed by all those visible studs.
