I'm rather surprised I haven't seen a Transformers/Dr. Who crossover yet. Because Dr. Who gets crossed with everything. You know, kind of like the obligatory Quantum Leap fic you find in every single fandom that has ever existed.

@ShamelessSingingRennie: Well, that's probably the artist not getting the joke and supposing it was meant to be a British phone booth, OR they were trying to be subtle and were just showing Rose and 10 in London (where one does see the red phone booths all over the place).

I call Shenanigans! "Andy Warhol's Dracula" by Kim Newman is not a valid source--pretty much all the other relied on the companies owning the characters/universes working together, or being owned by the same people (Alias/Lost/Cloverfield/Fringe). I could write a novel in which every single fictional character ever created met, simply by writing the phrase "and then every single fictional character ever created met," but it wouldn't count.

Putting that aside, Scooby Doo enters solely by having met Batman in the New Scooby Doo Movies. Batman met Hellboy, therefore SD and HB are connected. And they're all connected to the Addams Family, who appeared in the New Scooby Doo Movies.

I absolutely adore this chart. However, there are a few big ones missing: X-Files? Buffy? Stargate? This makes me sad. :(

But this reminded me of a weird fic I read once that connected Transformers to Stargate based solely on the use of spacebridge technology. And the strange thing is it actually worked.

Your refering to Image's Invincible then I think we could argue that Savage Dragon, Invincible, Spawn, and the entire Shadowline universe should be included like the Marvel and DC universe.

I guess you'd probably want Sandman just to keep the DC and Vertigo stuff tied together (though: you could also do that through Swamp Thing).

Here one impossible to verify easter egg unless you travel to Washington DC with a magnifying glass: In the Air & Space Museum (not in on the Mall, the annex out by Dulles) is the original spaceship model from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". In all the busy "mechanical" looking detail are tiny additions like a US mailbox, a submarine, and R2D2 (and the Millenium falcon?)

Now to really blow your mind. There is a sculpture in the living room in the first few seasons of Fraiser that I'm positive was done by Clark Ashton Smith who contributed much to the Lovecraft Mythos. Connect that to Cheers -> Kristie Alley -> Star Trek...

If you want to see the ultimate crossover chart, visit Tommy Westphall's Mind. In the final episode of St. Elsewhere it was revealed that the entire series had been a fantasy in the mind of an autistic child. Since the characters from that show had done multiple crossovers with other shows, and each of those shows had done crossovers themselves, or made reference to characters or institutions in other shows, it follows that, working backwards and forwards, at last count 182 television programs exist entirely in the mind of Tommy Westphall. This is known as the "Tommy Westphall universe hypothesis," which holds that about 90% of all television takes place entirely within Tommy Westphall's mind.

Following the chart (with the annotations) leads to the inescapable conclusion that I Love Lucy, Star Trek, Three's Company, NCIS, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Brady Bunch, Firefly, Battlestar Gallactica, Doctor Who, and The X-Files are all part of the same universe.
