    Do the nanites from Crichtons book Prey count? IIRC, you needed to consume sewage to have an effect on them.

    @B:
    I'm not sure if Fry was immune due to being stupid, or if it was that thing with doing the nasty-in-the-past-y, becoming his own grandfather, and producing within himself some odd genetic defect where he doesn't produce a certain set of brain waves (which is what made him immune to the giant brains)
