Jennifer Walters ownz them all a million times over.
Just read "single green female" for proof.
Shes better because she actualy enjoys her alter-ego and is (mostly) in controll of it.
Ugh. Remember when Hulk was a well-written, involving comic book that actually had stories I could follow and characters I could care about? I wish Peter David had never left!
@franklinshepard: You're reminiscing false memories. David's Hulk was atrocious. He never knew what to do with him, and tried to change him as much as he could to anything other than something resembling the Hulk.
David leaving the title was the best thing happening to it.
@JesusDeSaad: No, I'll have to agree to disagree. I just re-read David's Hulk two years ago or so, and I found it consistently compelling, with a firm grasp of Betty, the Leader, and Rick (and Marlo has never been written better since her creation.)
I know some people don't like Gray Hulk or the "merged" Hulk, but honestly, to me, they seem like logical progressions, and Bruce's battle with himself is well-thought out, rather than what happened to the Hulk in the last decade or so, when every writer seems to retcon everything they can about the Hulk, just because. I'll admit I haven't followed Pak's run all that closely, but that's only because Bruce Jones's run was so terrible, I had to stop reading the title.
@van_line: I like Loeb sometimes, but other times ("Hush," any work on Marvel's Ultimate line), I feel like he's forgotten how to write compelling stories without derailing characters.
I actually liked Hulk 2099. The character design was cool, so was his attitude. The whole Banner cult was intriguing but under developed. That could have been like a Scientology rip.
@Smeagol92055: The best thing about MadTV was the Steven Segal skit where he breaks EVERYONE'S arms and legs. Which incidentally is pretty much all his best movies.

Pak saved the title single-handedly.
