@Garrison Dean: R.O.A.C.H.: Ditto. Makes me appreciate what a "race to the bottom" the studios are in when producing "marketing collateral" instead of "art".
One of my bigger regrets in life was that my parents lived in Austin for 1.5 years while I was in college and I never got around to the Alama Drafhouse when I was home for the holidays. That and the especially awesome stuff always happened while I was 1000 miles away, Excellent posters though.
Isn't Steven Colbert a big ol geek as well? I remember him being into Tolkien, D&D, and a general Sci-Fi fan. He also ocassionaly does that sci-fi cartoon of himself on the Colbert Report.
I'd add Noel Clarke, Mickey of the new Doctor Who, a childhood fan, hanger-on for three years, and writer of an episode for "Torchwood." Surely, he'll contribute a script to the mother show one of these days...
There are a ton of actors who are super-geeks and really love franchises like Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar G., comics, video games and so on.
I've interviewed quite a few actors and celebs like Simon Pegg, Bill Hader, Jaime King, Seth Green, Milo Ventimiglia, Margaret Cho, Seth MacFarlane, Masi Oka, and more here if any of you want to read more geek love comments.
I have to admit it's rather endearing to learn that some of the coolest actors out there have a soft spot for Doctor Who action figures and Star Wars bedspreads. ;-)
Don't forget "Heroes" actor Milo Ventimiglia. Not only does he appreciate his own fans from "Heroes" but he's also very much a fan of comics (producing comics on the side too like the new title "Rest") plus he's a huge Star Wars fan, enough to the point where he has lightsaber battles with his friends in the parking garage:
You forgot Obama on your list. Start with his posing as Superman in front of the Superman statue. Then there is his Blackberry addiction; he's been advised by his security team to give it up and he replied they'd have to pry it from his cold, dead hands. And he's actually appointed a physicist to his cabinent! Of course, he's not an actor but he's on the public stage like an actor is and he's our highest ranking geek. Plus there was an article about this at Daily Kos and the phrase "All your bases belong to us" where we learn he's made jokes about Jor-el's name and dilithium crystals plus his knowing what the aforementioned phrase means. Follow the link at least to check out his Superman pose in front of the Superman statue! (Add to this a nice synchronicity: I was listening to NPR on the radio and they said Obama at the same time as I was typing Obama at the start of this paragraph!)

@brentbent: Plus, they got a Wii for Christmas. It's "for the girls" but he's been working on his bowling, and you know he's gonna find something nerdy to play on it.
I liked that article. Having a prez who understands the Internet, Star Trek, and comics will be awesome.
A post about actors who get fandom with no love for Grunny?!? That is just not cool, dude.
Actually, I think the Heroes cast and crew in general set a high standard for being appreciative and friendly towards fandom. From Grunberg on Twitter to Pasdar on YouTube, they have really grasped the sense of community that makes geekdom so rewarding and fun!

But also, Hewlett? Shanks? I KNOW Hewlett is a big nerd.
Also? Freema Agyeman went to a convention when she was younger dressed as Data. Please don't ask how I know this.

Edward James Olmos is more obsessive about BSG than most of the fans are.

Recently he had his Clone Trooper assistant help him get ready for New York Comic-Con:
