Menial technical work being jargon for "Repairs nobody thought possible ten years ago, and were never planned for in the design process." I just love the way everyone assumes that microgravity makes it easier to do things. Sheesh!
Is NASA still doing all its measurements in inches, feet, miles etc. or are they doing that for the media coverage. They should know better by now, science & engineering works better in metric.

The picture with Earth in the background is fantastic. I guess I never realized how close Hubble was to us.
Anyone know what part of the Earth they are over?
