@vrey_oneida: You're not alone in feeling that way, which is why there have been exactly three successful sci-fi musicals (Little Shop, Urinetown, and, sadly, Jekyll & Hyde) and an ever-growing list of Giant Vampire Musical Flops.
Uh, Evan Rachel Wood is a really damn good actress, and anybody that has seen Across the Universe knows that she has a descent singing voice. But ya, seems likes this would be a great pick for Peter Parker.
@Forsakenchild: Sorry I disagree, I'm not so sure if her descent singing voice can hold up every single night. But then again I've never been on the ERW train, I blame Simone.
@leeflower: Because using text to cover up fake boobs that are previewed on the main page as the post icon shouldn't need it. But sorry if you got in trouble.
@leeflower: There wasn't one..because there isn't any. The only thing that's borderline is the "This is a disaster" picture taken from Total Recall. And that's the picture that was up on the main page, that you should have seen before clicking your way into this page.
@Garrison Dean: Those of us that follow i09 via RSS don't see the main page. My reader shows only the article title until I click through.
It certainly wasn't an absolute disaster (ha ha), but it did lead to an awkward minute or two with the guests in the office. If you made the judgment call that a NSFW tag wasn't necessary, though, I respect that. Sorry for the snarky comment before.
@leeflower: I've only worked in the entertainment industry and from home so my NSFW compass is probably far out of whack. I'll try and be a bit more mindful of it in the future.
So we'll consider it a learning experience... for your guests... on the famous triple nipple.
People shouldn't worry about U2 ruining it - they should worry about the folks that made Across the Universe. Am I wrong in believing that movie was an awful, self-serving piece of trash?
That movie was SOOOOOOO bad. I mean epic badness. It was on par with Southland Tales badness. When are people gonna realize that a string of Beetles songs does not equal a good movie?

Not that I'm clamoring instead to see Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest rearrangement of Puccini's greatest hits...

(Granted, the roster of female Spidey villains is pretty thin.)

Also Bono? Die quickly, plz.

I hadn't heard about that, but if so, good job!

Spiderman sings U2?!
Bono needs to have an aneurism and stop plaguing me with his incessant crap.

Oh, wait. There wasn't one.
