Okay, maybe I just didn't eat enough at Thanksgiving, but has anyone checked out the cookies at GeekyCookies.com? They are so darn cool! They've got PacMan and Ghosts, Mario Mushrooms and Codex's Staff...I want some!!!

"May you die in battle with honor. May you die in battle with honor, everyone" cried Tiny Kla'pac as he waved his Bal'leth over his head.

Somewhere the whole theme of helping others in A Christmas Carol might be lost in a Klingon Translation.

@ManchuCandidate: I now have to see that show. I hope they offer roasted turkey legs for everyone in the audience to much on and wave over their heads during the performance.

@ManchuCandidate: "You may be an undigested bit of targ, a blot of grapok sauce, a crumb of krada, a fragment of underdone gladst. There's more of bloodwine than of blood about you, whatever you are!"

Some of the original would follow. A Klingon that values money too much would definitely need a good kick in the pants.

Wow, Kirk's original death was really lame. I didn't think it could've been lamer than the one we got, but somehow it was.

Yeah, the only thing on this entire list that I really care about is that Futurama is coming back. And all four of the DVD movies fall kinda flat on the whole basis that they both tried to be a movie and tried to be four stand-alone episodes. And failed at both.

See, the advantage that the series had was that when they ran long, they could pick the worst parts to trim out. When they switched it up to a four-ep movie format, suddenly they were both forced to pad the main story to fill out ~90 minutes, and they were forced to disregard the overall pacing so they could keep all the secondary stories within a strict range of runtimes. On the flip side, they had to sacrifice any pretense of quality on the secondary stories so they could try to keep the main stories flowing well enough to be followed. It just didn't work the way they'd hoped, even if it succeeded in bringing new life to the series.

Uh... those first two scenes from ST:TMP weren't deleted. They have been in every version I've ever watched, from Laserdisc and VHS, to DVD and bluray. I watched them three times to see if there were perhaps longer versions or something, but they are word for word the same as the released version of the scene.

Why does Ten Forward look so small in that Nemesis clip? I realize that the Enterprise E was smaller in terms of crew compliment than D, but that looked no bigger than the retrofitted galley on Voyager.

    @EdificeComplex:
It looked the same size because it was the same set, and it wasn't Ten Forward, it was just an officer's lounge. Ten Forward was the size it was because it served three times as many people, on a much larger ship.

Did they put some of those generation scenes back in a later release?

I swore I've seen Kirk skydiving in context. Maybe it was the comic adaptation. Why did I have the comic adaptation?

Leia and Solo making out was pretty much the only actual sexual expression out of the entire Star Wars Saga (the green slave girl's boob and Leia slave girl outfit doesn't count.) Might have done Lucas a world of good if he added some sex to Star Wars. No wonder they needed clones.

As for Sgt William Candy, I'm glad they cut it. That was pretty stupid especially when Candy sounds like what one would consider the stereotype of a Southern fried idiot.

Some of those are awesome!!! The Terminator one ive seen before. What a crazy ass clip.

Now I know I might turn a few people here....but Watchmen was amazing. I personally cant wait for the super-duper extended edition. This scene was left out and I think its absolutly beautiful and tragic all in the same go!!!

@CoffinDodger (If the typos crap. Blame my keyboard): A lot of "official" postings on YouTube block embedding now because the embedded players code can be exploited to download copies of the video. Disabling embedding also prevents websites like KeepVid from snagging downloadable links.

@CyberSlug Labs: Why have the link there in the first place then??? Its a borrowed code. Nothing more. Rather than blocking safe users who just want to add the link to a safe legit website. Why cant they just find a better way of stopping the downloads!!

Another thing that pissed me off was something so trivial that its worth overlooking once. But hundreds!! Thats just not cricket. I tried to watch an Iron Maiden vid on youtube and it said 'sorry not available in your country'. Im sorry WHAT!! Iron Maiden is british fuckin metal band. I can understand an american vid not playing over here. It happens a lot with ther MTV player and that I can live with. But blocking UK users from watching UK stuff!! Eh!!!????
