    @iameleveneight: I hate the Muppet Show , but that's because when I was a kid, I had a huge phobia of puppets, and ventriloquist dummy's. Do I still get shot into the sun?

    NEMESIS!!!! Nemesis allow is not! Is movie forbidden!


    Can't wait to see a new star trek comic all colored in over blended photoshop airbrushing and no color scheme whatsoever. Kind of like how the new movie looks. And its great how they're trying so hard to tie this so closely to TNG but not...uh... TOS. WTF? Go ahead and reboot, but don't alter the universe so it denies the Shat. That's just fucking wrong.

    They're probably trying to tie it into TNG because unlike TOS TNG is canon now.


    TOS is hopelessly broken from canon.


    They travel outside the galaxy. They refer to the enterprise as an "intergalactic starship". They make references to other worlds being OMG "On the other side of the galaxy." Warp speed obviously is different. Klingons don't have bumps and seem to have a vastly different culture.


    The prime directive is pretty religiously ignored.


    TOS is seriously seriously dated. On the other hand... like or not... TNG, Enterprise, DS9 and Voyager all stick to the same universe pretty stringently.
