Crow Reboot Will End In Eyelinery Tears

Well since C2, C3 & C4 all featured a 'new' story and character this is a sequel...

Same question for the fourth Die Hard movie, I Robot and I don't know how many other stories that Hollywood felt needed name branding or they wouldn't get made.

Maybe?

BUT, when they are working off of a property that has been proven, like Die Hard or Indy, the bar has been set. And in the case of Die Hard the bar is set at amazing (for the record I rate DHs thusly 1,3,2,4). Then I have an issue when they dumbify and tame it as they did with 4. I felt 4 was a really good Bruce Willis film, but a terrible John McClane film.

Crow 2 and the TV show bombed...
Crow 1 is barely watchable.
So he thinks he can make money from it?
Good luck, kid.

Dead Time and Flesh & Blood were both good. Take a look at those, and stay away from Eddie Furlong.

Seriously, there is simply nothing wrong with the original. Leave it the hell alone!

What are we, really, if we can't fall back on internet memes?

The cycle will continue and we will come to remake movies that haven't been made and Hollywood will have come full circle back into originality.
Unfortunately, they will still never make a movie better than the book they unconciously stole the idea from.

Yeah, this remake shit is getting OUT OF CONTROL. It seriously needs to stop. Hollywood needs to start coming up with some original ideas, instead of rebooting/remaking old films (that were fine to begin with) and remaking films from Japan/Korea/China (that were fine to begin with).

EXACTLY.

The first Crow was a pretty awesome, quirky movie, so a reboot could be a good thing, but not just give it to anybody. Plus, anything to erase the memories of the sequels. I'm, strangely, for it. Give it to someone talented like Danny Boyle.

While I absolutely adore Danny Boyle's work, I wouldn't even want him to do a Crow reboot.
