Daybreakers, which comes out in theaters January 8th, is set in the future, when almost all humans have turned vampire. But with the increase in the vampire population comes the decrease in their food supply — in other words, the vampires are running out of humans. The shortage of human blood has lead to heavy dilution in the vampire blood banks, and a slow and painful vampire evolution into the fanged ugly you see above. Now it's up to vampire scientist Ethan Hawke to buck the system and find a peace between vampires and the living.

Plus if you want a good scare check out Daybreakers latest evolution trailer. Warning, it's a little loud, but still pretty creative.

Empire Magazine released a few new stills from The Last Airbender, some even with completed FX, looking golden. Slashfilm managed to get their hands on a few scans from the issue and here's the Aang money shot — he looks both tiny and deadly, perched a top a tiny piece of wood.

The eagle eyed folks over at Slashfilm pointed out a major detail from the new Iron Man 2 trailer. It seems that for a split second in the new trailer Black Widow exposes a S.H.I.E.L.D. badge on her catsuit. The badge was previously removed from any official stills, as it would expose the secret of who she is and why she's working inside Stark's company. Here's the picture...

When we spoke with Scarlett Johansson back in the comic con the actresses played especially coy about her character's ties in the film.

What is your relationship to the other characters in the film?

Well I'll tell you that um, my character... there are two sides to my character. She's a bit of a shape shifter, I suppose. There's a side of the character that's kind of demure and covert - I wouldn't say that she's submissive, but she's blending in to the Stark Industries [team, as an assistant]. Then the other part of the character is a really aggressive, bad-ass character, that is sure of herself and is going to kick the shit out of you if you get in her way. So that's as about as much as I can tell you, and how that relates to the other characters.

I'm curious as to how your character balances out Whiplash and the other villains. A lot of people are saying two villains is too many, what does your character bring?

We don't know whether the character is villainous. She does have a dark past, and she is very seductive and distracting. We are not sure exactly where she's coming from, and what her intentions are, I'm not saying that will all be revealed. But there are a lot of characters in this movie, and a lot of new characters. And it is a balancing act. I think that between the huge explosive action, the romance, the battle of good versus evil - even within one's self - there's a nice balance between all of us. And I think fans will be excited to be taken down all these different journeys. They all really play into one another, and it doesn't feel like a lot of different films coming together. It feels like an ensemble. And you know, who can have too many villains?

In the comics your character works with Sam Jackson, do you have any scenes with Sam?

Um, I have worked with Sam Jackson.

She kept a tight lid on the plot details there, but this assumption seems to go along with comic books, and the "duality" issues that Scarjo is talking about above. Not a huge surprise, but a welcomed addition that keeps in canon with the comics.

Uh oh, Pepper looks pissed. And Tony looks alone. What happened to all his friends?

Garry Shandling makes his big debut as Senator Stern, so Tony mocks him, naturally.

See Tony is alone. Empty chairs. Empty soul. It's lonely at the top.

But wait, it's Rhodey, he's back...and he looks pissed. And who's that to Rhodey's left? It's Sam Rockwell, as Justin Hammer. Did they walk in together? And where did Pepper go? Where's Happy?

Same sexual chemistry between Pepper and Tony, check. But then again I think RDJ is so charming he could have chemistry with a lamp post... lucky lamp post.

Iron Man is America, and a rock star. And look in the background — it's the Iron Man dancers, thus proving the slutty Halloween rule to be true: any outfit can be made whorish.

These gloves could very well be the best little party favors ever. Please hand these out at Comic Con!

Whiplash is obsessed. See? See? He has newspaper clippings. And newspaper clipping are to stalkers what glasses are to shy mousy girls with a hot girl dying to get out inside: stereotypical. But let's assume that since he's spent so much time cataloguing the family story, that this grudge may go way, way back. Since he's had time to make a scrap book.

What is happening to Tony's neck?

Yikes it's spreading. Tony is literally turning into an Iron Man. Also, he could be turning into a human computer, which has happened in the Iron Man comics before.

More Justin Hammer, and in perfect timing with Whiplash's "shark" comment.

Nick Fury just wants to get motherfucking Tony onto the motherfucking team.

More Iron Man-ettes. I suspect this may be a banner year for the cosplay fans.

Whiplash finally shows us what his lightsaber whips can do — which is break Tony's car.

I'm still not sold on the Whiplash outfit, but it does look pretty bad ass from behind.

What is this flying contraption? It looks like it's shooting at Iron Man? Multiple Mecha suits?

A first look at War Machine, and Tony's new suit, with a triangle chest plate. Is this due to the metal veins? Also the background is filled with power suits, almost like an Armor War...

War Machine and Tony fight other mechas and you get a faceful of War Machines shoulder gun, and Tony's fully reconstructed suit, Mark VI. Very nice. So who thinks they are filming the Armor Wars story?

Wow, Disney is riding that cyberpunk idea fast and hard. Just look at Olivia Wilde on the left. Interesting how the new light-up suits look so much less like something I could make in my basement and more like actual battle suits. Are those built in muscles and SKIN we see? This helmet-free new life of a program has undergone one sexy upgrade.

Jay Baruchel plays the apprentice, and Monica Bellucci is the sexy witch, who has a thing for Cage's 90s boy band-haired wizard. The film comes out July 2010.

Eli takes place after tragedy has stuck the Earth and the land is now all burned to rubble. Denzel walks across what was formerly the U.S., spreading the word from his magical book. When he gets to Gary Oldman's gang, he has to fight off the power-hungry leader who wants his book. So that means there's going to be one massive scene-chewing showdown between these two, no doubt. And apparently Denzel prefers the bow and arrow as his weapon of choice. First person to photoshop Legolas' hair on Denzel wins the day! Eli will be in theater January 15th.

The story focuses on the tragic murder of a 14-year-old high schooler, and her journey through purgatory. As she drifts through pop culture-enhanced dreams, her family struggles with the mysterious circumstances surrounding their daughter's murder. The murderer, played by a deeply disturbing Stanley Tucci, goes about his everyday life next door to the grieving family. These images really give you a feel for how special effects master Jackson played with the colors of the 70s, on Earth and in the afterlife.

The story begins with a fallen angel, Paul Bettany, who comes down to Earth to save a pregnant waitress at a truck stop from an army of Angels sent by God to wipe the world clean of humanity. The film is in theaters January 22, 2010.

A fantastic Red Dawn 2010 fansite has posted a mass of set pics and set videos depicting the re-education tactics being implemented after a little town in America has been invaded. Similar to the original film, a gang of unruly teens must to start their own tiny revolution to take back the town after it's been taken over by hostile forces. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Isabel Lucas (the tongue lashing Decepticon), Adrianne Palicki (Legion and Friday Night Lights) and Connor Cruise (yes Tom's son) are all cast in the remake. They're not messing around with the red lettering, are they? Also, it seems like there's a gigantic plane crash in the little town, along with a few gun fights and car-chase scenes.

Gamer, the feature film about multi player games where other humans are your Avatars, will be theaters on September 4th.

After watching the trailer I noticed a few things over the eyes of the Na'vi people while they were riding their winged beasts, and thought: Are those Na'vi oakleys?
Turns out yes, yes they are sunglasses. As is evident from the new Empire Magazine close up of Zoe Saldana. And does Zoe's character have ear gauges?????
Also I kind of love how they get scared cat ears when threatened, here's Sam Worthington's Avatar Jake demonstrating the mew pose. I Can Haz Avatar?
Finally, if we're going to talk about the cat ears then we must bring up the skinny tail. I have a feeling getting whacked with end of that is going to sting like a rat tail surprise in the shower.

We were ecstatic to interview Doug Jones at the Wrath of Con party over Comic Con and we've been holding on to this gem, so we could show you his creepy footage from the Legion clips alongside it. The whole interview is transcribed below, as it gets a little difficult to hear in some places.

I'm one of [the bad guys]. I basically have a [few] showcase cameos in the film. My character plays in about the third part of the film. And that's when things break loose, or when Heaven breaks loose rather. That said, I think theologically, it's a big mind-bend. It's a good conversation starter for topics on religion, it really is. Because humanity is in a place where we might deserve another flood, like what happened in the Old Testament. That's the question he's posing with this script. And it's really well written, it's a beautiful movie.

Tell us about Paul [Bettany] as the angel. Why does he need a gun and a knife?

Paul Bettany's character, as you saw in the footage, he cuts his wings off. He's actually going away from the orders he was given when he comes to Earth. I don't want to give too much away, but he's kind of a rebellious angel. And with the rebel comes a knife and a gun.

How violent does this movie get?

Pretty darn. Pretty darn violent, but in such a creative way that it's not like blood-on-the-wall horror film at all. It's apocalyptic, it's epic, it's going to make you shudder, possibly yell an scream. I think; that's how I would feel.

What freaked you out?

Well, the angel that inhabits a human being, that makes an entrance before me, is a woman. It's an old woman in a diner, another cameo in the film. But it is something that will absolutely freak your pants off.

Then we asked him about being in a movie where he wasn't covered in make up like in Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy or Pan's Labyrinth and he has a pretty sweet response to that along with seeing his face on a t-shirt.

Here are a slew of new Legion stills released from Sony. We can't wait for the spiritual cleansing!
