Productions do not halt without there being serious major problems. Anyone who covers television should have known the moment this came out two months ago that the show was toast. But for some reason, there's this kind of Whedonverse stupor that people can't snap out of.
Sorry, this time it's not Fox. This show has been a mess from the beginning.

It is exactly Fox.
Whether Fox is **justified** in messing with it, scrapping the pilot, forceing a character to be writting out and what-not is impossible to say without seeing the script.
But its still the network doing it.

Even Whedon says he was the one who scrapped the pilot.
You're basically saying that it's impossible to say what Fox did without seeing the script, but surely Fox did it. In a couple of months, Whedon is going to say "Don't Blame Fox For This" and you'll still blame Fox.
You want it to be Fox, but there's no evidence they haven't done one thing that every network does with every single show.
Sorry, this time it's Joss. The concept for the show was troubled from the beginning. The production was troubled from the beginning.
How many shows on Fox's sched have they had halt production? Are you saying there is a conspiracy against Joss Whedon?

Right. Why would he do that if he wanted to launch a successful show?
The answer is: he wouldn't.
And that's why the show has been a mess. He never wanted to do it. He did it as a favor to Eliza Dushku.
