This looks like a very fun B-movie. Sure, it's gonna be cheesy as hell, and probably awkward, but I'd go see this over most big budget films these days.
@thursdaynext27: i'm not sure who owns the rights to each. I'd agree maybe an HBO miniseries could do it justice, and may not attract as much negative attention (/protests from crazies) as a feature film.
@jajbowler: I want to see The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Bay to go first... to listen to the Dog talk about Food Guy and Alternate Food Guy, and the Former Barbarella Lead Actress slip into her alter-personality to go all Warrior Chick... the movie has everything!
@bonniegrrl: Mmm, the music did NOT inspire me to want to watch that. On the oter hand, Dave Foley, and maybe most importantly, Malcolm McDowell, did that. As much as I like Iggy Pop, I don't really need to see films just because he's in them, same with Alice Cooper (unless John Carpenter directs). Hell, I stuck with Heros as long as I did just because of McDowell.
When was the last time we had a vampire comedy-drama? (I am not counting "Lesbian Vampire Killers" because I am saying "comedy".) Anyway, the last one I can think of was "Blood and Donuts". Now if this movie is as half as fun as that movie was, I am shall be a happy fangirl.
I am not ready to bring myself to watch the trailer for Womb. It frightens me on a level, I didn't realize I had.
I started having nightmares recently.
I know people had them in the past, and I read books about people having them. But recently they started for me. This feels like pure nightmare fuel.
@PostMarque: Clones are that scary? To me they're like identical twins who were separated at birth. This movie seems more about incest (Wife loses Husband, uses son as substitute). Cloning seems like an unnecessary twist just sort of tossed in.
Hm. It'd take more than utter depopulation to get me and my sister to sit for a meal, let alone... yeah. Better hope she and I aren't the last survivors, or you can weep for the human race and the six fingered mutant inbreds we never repopulate with. Hell of a sitcom though.

my sister saw him speak at a book store, and apparently the film rights to all his books have been purchased, so i just keep my fingers crossed.

And gold star for using Henry Rollins.
