@Lampbane: Although vastly inferior, I have a soft spot for some of those episodes. They had some fun gimmicks, but the animation quality was terrible.
Clearly I'm too old and took geeky--what the hell? What about the stupid monkey pet from "Lost in Space"? What about the beach ball pet from "Dark Star"?--that thing ruled.
If you're including book characters (unless you mean the movie versions of certain Discworld books), I'd add Mouse, the kickass temple dog who's attached himself to Harry in The Dresden Files series. He's scarily strong and resilient, and smarter than most people.
