Eh...no. If the name cited was Bryan Fuller, I'd be all over it, but he's the one who created Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, and Pushing Daisies, not Sonnenfeld.
Dude was associated with Pushing Daisies? I'll give the pilot episode a try, at the very least. That show buys you a lot of credit with me. Of course if it sucks I'll dump it like a bad piece of pickled mango, but I'll at least give it a shot.
@BlueBeard: Well with Sonnenfeld.. Atleast we won't be limited to the "I can't land.. At All" running gag.. It'll be more destructive.. probably darker :)
@BlueBeard: Every time I hear that theme (or think of anything connected to Greatest American Hero), I can only hum to myself, "Believe it or not, George isn't at home..."
@franklinshepard: I loved that show as a kid, and the theme song was awesome. Seinfeld's answering machine parody was very well executed. Mine was just a tribute.
@it must be bunnies: Well I would say that it depends on how much leway there is. Can you honestly tell me that if he started a Half hour sitcom as dark as Adams Family, that it wouldn't funny enough?
@Random434: Hey, I would love something quirky, dark and creative! Dead Like Me is one of my favourite series. The half hour format may not lend itself to that kind of show.
But the main problem is getting the network to green-light it and allow it to build a following. It will be interesting to see what he develops and if it is allowed to find an audience.

Okay, now what does LARM mean? I've tried google, gotten some interesting choices (Latin American Relocation Management, League Association of Risk Management) but somehow I don't think those are right.
@MrTim: Agreed, especially for the former. H.P. Lovecraft deserves at least one high-quality, high-budget movie in this century. I wonder what Del Toro would think about directing "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath"...
@Lightice:
I have waitied since the 1960's for one decent adaptation of a HPL story and all I got was the really cool Call Of Cthulu that was fan based made.Hollywood has yet to do anything good for HPL.
Check out that silent film I suggested if you have not already seen it as it was done really well in my humble opinion.
@Lightice: Well, there's always John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness. I guess this might not meet your criteria of "high-quality" or "high-budget" but it's a rollicking good Lovecraftian horror movie.
