    I personally loved the part where the LARP Dean was trying to get the Zippo lit and it took forever and was all, "how does Dean make this look so easy..." That was awesome. I just wish to death they would've added a bit in like, "I'm not throwing this lighter away on some bones, that thing cost me 15 dollars!" #supernatural

    Knowing how smart SUPERNATURAL can be, I'd like to think all this meta business is somehow going to play into the series finale. I don't think the staff would spend this much time directly addressing that fact that we're watching a program unless it was somehow going to play a bigger role in the future. What exactly that role might be escapes me, but I really hope they don't go out DALLAS-style where "it was all just a tv show..." #supernatural

    @WeaponizedPlacebo: If this is actually the route the show goes, I'll feel completely and utter betrayed. While I do believe the self-reflexive nature of the season to date will factor into the finale, I'll be so pissed if my b.s. guess is close to being correct that I'll to hollywood just to kick Kripke in the ball-sack.

    Okay, so I won't really kick anyone in the ball-sack. Chances are I'll just cry at the betrayal, like the time I came home from work early to find my wife in bed with the entire Lacrosse team.

    Okay, so I've never been married. But if I were, and did indeed find my wife in the middle of a Lacrosse Bukake, I'd feel just as betrayed as if Kripke pulled some sort of God-tv nonsense.... #supernatural

    My money is on Kripke playing God in the final episode....

    You have to love the implications of Becky changing her mind from Sam to Chuck. Guys, it's totally cool if you identify with our characters, but chicks? Get over your fictional boy crushes and settle for us guys who actually exist!

    Okay, maybe 'love' wasn't want I was feeling so much. The fact that the last time we saw this meta, it was pretty clearly geared toward a female fanbase and the fans were only around for ridicule gives me the sense that fanboys can be kind of laughingly appreciated, but fangirls are just cluelessly salivating over our intrepid heroes. It's a bit like watching those Star Wars geeks dressed as Stormtroopers making fun of the girls at the Twilight cons. #supernatural

    With this show I actually don't mind the meta so much. But it does seem like there's been more of it this season than the rest of the series combined. And kudos to the casting director. That dark haired little kid was creepy.

    I'm sure I'm not the only person for whom the line between this being sort of amusing and completely annoying is razor thin...

    That said, they're still staying on the sort of amusing side, but it's =real= close -- It's the fracking apocalypse; somebody page the fat lady and tell her she's on in five already... #supernatural

    Ever since the bomb was dropped that one of the real issues is really that God abandoned the Angels, last season, and that's why they're acting like stuck up little brats I couldn't be happier with the series. Well.. I was happy before.. But whatever, I'm happier now.

    I LOVE the mirror image they're casting on Sam and Dean being like the two biggest baddest siblings in all the Heavens.. The thing I think I love most is that the rest of the Angels are just like the humans and they'd just absolutely hate to admit that. All their hope is resting on the Angelic brothers just like all of us are looking to the Winchesters to save us.

    Just all of it, all the revelations of the season so far and how they stretch all the way to the beginning of the series without sounding crammed in there with no thought at all is just fantastic. Supernatural should serve as a model for future shows.

    Hell, it should have served as a model for Heroes.. #supernatural

    I like how they took what seemed like a one-off 'funny episode' and actually folded it into the greater plot. It's easy for people to believe the trickster-as-archangel premise was a flimsy retcon, but having plotted out shows from beginning to end, I can easily believe this has been intended for some time. Or maybe not, but it was effective at tying up loose ends with the trickster #supernatural

    @schrodingers-katana: Well, it does finally give credence to why he never died in the first episode we met him. Why it didn't take.

    And even if it IS a retcon that they didn't plan (perhaps it fell into place after realizing how much fun mixed with crazy that actor brings to the role and his chemistry and what not) than it's one I'm okay with because it doesn't contradict anything nor does it seemed wedged in. In fact it fits in perfectly fine. #supernatural

    @Sunshineyness: I agree, as much as people are nay-saying it, there is a trend on this show of only keeping around enemies that they have a bigger (usually ironic) plan for in the future. #supernatural

    I loved it except for "the Trickster is an Angel bit." That felt like a cop out. Yet I did like the character Gabriel and the whole sit up of the episode. #supernatural

    the meta was funny in Cuck's first episode, and that was it. Super-fan Becky made me cringe the entire time she was on the screen. And I'm on the fence whether or not to just skip the next episode entirely.

    Other than that, love the show. Still on the fence how I feel about Trickster not being the trickster, though. #supernatural
