    Judging by the picture, it will be a darker, grittier John Carter;


    Filled with moral ambiguity.



    A character driven piece, concentrating on relationships. All the characters will be dressed in black and it will be filmed at night, in the rain. (A real trick on Mars) The special effects and music will be recorded at 11 and all the dialogue will be mumbled, to give it that realistic tone.


    I give it 5 stars.

    Wow. Really? One picture and we're having whole posts about what Gambit will be wearing?


    It's in the past, yes, but also, it looks like he's playing some kind of high stakes poker and therefore we can assume he would dress up for such an occasion, but also, we have to remember that Gambit is a suave motherfucker.


    Let's wait for a trailer with more frames of Gambit before we start complaining. Yeesh.

    @rjupiter: I'm optimistic that Kitsch will downplay Gambit's sometimes bothersome attitudes. But I'm still surprised how Josh Holloway from Lost didn't get this role.

    @Meredith Woerner: He turned the role down in X3 from fear of being type cast, but it would have been really awesome to see him play this role. They could of made the cast up of actors from Lost. Jorge Garcia for the blob anyone?
