The Sterile Perfection of The Signal's Terminus City
The new techno-horror film The Signal takes place in an imaginary city called Terminus City, where conformity and Wal-Mart culture reign supreme... until a crazy electronic noise makes everybody go bonkers. Directors David Bruckner and Jacob Gentry tell io9 that Terminus is based on the new Atlanta, filled with corporate live-work developments and boxy housing. Gentry, who's also a producer of The Signal, put together a brochure about Terminus City when he was pitching the film to Bruckner and the third director, Dan Bush.
