I sort of like the idea that James Cameron sits around fantasizing about twittering backwards in time.
from a submarine at the bottom of the world, whilst looking onto the wreckage of the Titanic and drawing a picture of a nude Leonardo Dicaprio as he weeps silently...
@Bootknife-Jackson: *rocking back and forth in a corner* James Cameron won't eat me...James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... *deep inhale*James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me... James Cameron won't eat me...

If I could send a message back in time to myself, it would be "offer Cameron FIVE dollars." Then we'd all be spared Terminator Salvation. And Terminator III, for that matter.
Terminator Salvation was good. It wasnt great but it was good. Loved the throwbacks to the old films and I dont mind Worthington.
It seems to me Cameron hasnt gone back on his word about his feelings for the film, he's just slightly more reserved and possibly bitter about selling the rights so long ago for so little money. But I suppose its not much to dwell on when youve had the massive hit of Titanic and the innevitable onslaught of Avatar!
Cheer up Mr Cameron, the further away from Terminator you are..the further away from Linda Hamilton you are too. And we all know how that ended!!!!! Just concentrate on films and dont sweat the small stuff.
@sonicsurge: Well, after she got half of everything from Cameron, she started getting treated for bipolar disorder 2.. from what I recall, she's a spokes person (I think) does a lot of talking about it to help other people get treatment and to take away the stigmata of having a mental illness.
@kialakazebee: The worse trade I ever made was trading my Death Star card. I didn't even get to use it. I had a x-wing I played to death. Both the upper wings were gone. And I burnt Han Solo during my piro phase.
@kialakazebee: I think I was about the same age when I swapped my Space: 1999 Eagle (which could carry little barrels of nuclear waste on a string underneath it) for a water-powered rocket thing. The rocket thing is long gone. My regret is eternal.

"Now it's been a TV show, and two films since, and trying to go back and reshape it like that stuff didn't exist doesn't make sense."
Did Mister Cameron, Sir, just subtext:
"I saw TSCC"
"TSCC was good"
"TSCC 'owned' the Terminator timeline"
"I saw T3 and Salvation"
"They were not good"
"Forget that timeline"
... and in the Toronto Sun 'interview':
"BTW, and FYI ... I'm not bidding, Schwarzenegger's not bidding, and this 'franchise' is now worth a dollar ...
... and fifty cents"
