to bad that folks payed money to see this t4 cause now hollywood can just go and make more watered down pg13 non-gore non nudity terminators.at least i didnot support it so my money never went to hollywood's greed in taking decent R Rated films and making them into kiddie flicks.
just remember how bad AVP was without the extra swearing and gore and adult stuff.
enough said you can agree or not but i will keep on boycotting these lame r to pg13 moves.
"They're known in most Hollywood circles as the glitter twins"? Unlike all those producers of blockbusters who are known as "spendthrift pals" and "tone down the effects buddies"?
Lawyers are going to take over the world, they are making Terminator movies to fool into thinking Robots are going cause judgment day. Its not SkyNet its SkyBar, and the ranks of soul-less, litigating assholes grows larger everyday.
This is distressing... if they do this can they PLEASE spend some of that money on the writers to make a, you know, logical script that actually remembers that Terminator movies aren't supposed to JUST be mindless action movies. T4 had its moments but they were few and far between (and the more time passes since viewing the more I dislike it...)
*sighs* I just wish they'd leave it alone if they can't do it right...
So, the public will not only eat sh*t and like it, but they like it so much that companies will fight each other for the right to shovel a specific pile of mierditas into the trough.
I love how the article has the quote ""Terminator 4 was a big hit, and everybody who was connected with that movie was pretty happy with it.." right next to the link to the article "Sam Worthington Admits Terminator 4 Didn't Make Any Sense"
@ManchuCandidate: Maybe Skynet is behind this. By making movies about killer robots seem silly and hamfisted, it plans to lure us into a false sense of security for Judgment Day.
They want John Conner to believe his mother is crazy. That her "delusious" are lifted from movies.
@RoboBagins is the 13th Cylon: it might be less specific than that. perhaps it's a plot by skynet to convince humanity that machines will make obvious tactical errors at every turn?
@tetracycloide: "Dont worry guys, the machines will just send a single robot after me once I decide to enter their base. They wont simply gas the room they know I am going to be in. Plus this robot will be one my mom defeated 20 years ago, so I will defeat it handily."
@OW-Holmes--Serious Face.: the matrix trillogy catches a lot of flack for a lot of things but its representation of sentiant machines was probably the most honest. even the human hero with magical super powers couldn't make it through their defenses without nearly killing himself in the process. would the matrix robots be sending back a single warrior to kill someone in an era technologically advanced enough to fight back with moderate success? somehow i doubt it.
He has no idea what to do with the franchise. None. The Terminator franchise has no real purpose outside of John Conner and that character was actually the least interesting character in the movie. They need to sit down and think what exactly do they want to do with the series. What goal do they have, what do they want to accomplish.
