The T3 clip would have made the film worthwhile only to connect the eventual emergence of skynet and the brutality of machine warfare to today's developments where drones are being used in the most ethically questionable, but also counterproductive fashion in Afghanistan.

So the first two were the scenes too crappy for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? How did the poor editor choose? I wonder if he ever contemplated taking his old job back, editing the boring scenes out of fishing shows.

Why does Ten Forward look so small in that Nemesis clip? I realize that the Enterprise E was smaller in terms of crew compliment than D, but that looked no bigger than the retrofitted galley on Voyager.

It looked the same size because it was the same set, and it wasn't Ten Forward, it was just an officer's lounge. Ten Forward was the size it was because it served three times as many people, on a much larger ship.

Leia and Solo making out was pretty much the only actual sexual expression out of the entire Star Wars Saga (the green slave girl's boob and Leia slave girl outfit doesn't count.) Might have done Lucas a world of good if he added some sex to Star Wars. No wonder they needed clones.

As for Sgt William Candy, I'm glad they cut it. That was pretty stupid especially when Candy sounds like what one would consider the stereotype of a Southern fried idiot.

Some of those are awesome!!! The Terminator one ive seen before. What a crazy ass clip.

Now I know I might turn a few people here....but Watchmen was amazing. I personally cant wait for the super-duper extended edition. This scene was left out and I think its absolutly beautiful and tragic all in the same go!!!

@CyberSlug Labs: Why have the link there in the first place then??? Its a borrowed code. Nothing more. Rather than blocking safe users who just want to add the link to a safe legit website. Why cant they just find a better way of stopping the downloads!!

Another thing that pissed me off was something so trivial that its worth overlooking once. But hundreds!! Thats just not cricket. I tried to watch an Iron Maiden vid on youtube and it said 'sorry not available in your country'. Im sorry WHAT!! Iron Maiden is british fuckin metal band. I can understand an american vid not playing over here. It happens a lot with ther MTV player and that I can live with. But blocking UK users from watching UK stuff!! Eh!!!????

As a parent of a (now) toddler, we rarely get out of the house to see a movie anymore. Last movie we saw in the theaters...Iron Man.

So this weekend we got the opportunity to go see a movie, and we picked Star Trek. Why not Terminator? Because Summer is about feel-good movies, and there's nothing feel-good about an apocalyptic future. Star Trek offered a fun roller coaster ride, and we took it.

And was it good? Yes it was...but it wasn't Iron Man good.

I would say that the reason for the low returns is because it really had no story line. The movie does have a small nitch, however, they are a dedicated group and will go many times to one movie that they like. Sadly due to the fact that this movie only had action and gave away the main suprize in the previews there was nothing left to enjoy. I am reminded of wild Wild West where all the story was given up in previews. I don't think that the critics were far off with their assesment.

@Dr Emilio Lizardo: I love it when the studios come up with an excuse like this when a big tent-pole movie fails to live up to expectations. So when next week hits and the box office returns plummet, will they blame sports again? Maybe they can blame video games! A new map pack for Call of Duty came out, so that's why our blockbuster movie failed!

Reminds me of the argument that "The Island" failed because it was marketed poorly, not because it was a garbage remake of a movie so bad it ended up on MST3K.

@Optneo: I do think Sports had something to do with it, also don't forget the other 2 movies out for adult audiences (Star Trek and Angels & Demons) also probably hurt it. You trying to tell me the reason Night of the Museum did well was because of it's great story telling...don't make me laugh.

Bad mouth and sports... Sounds like another WB tentpole.

Honestly, the film wasn't terrible and was quite fun. I don't see why people wouldn't go check it out other than just not being interested due to critics swaying them to do.
