Looks like HBO's sexy Game of Thrones series will have a bit of competition — Terry Brooks' long-running fantasy book series Shannara is getting its own TV show too!

Terry Brooks has sold three new installments of his best-selling Shannara series to Del Rey Books. These new books in Brooks' post-apocalyptic swords and sorcery series will pick up where his High Druid of Shannara trilogy left off.
