    Clancy Brown seems like a good choice, albeit not exactly a marquee name. (i know that shouldn't make a difference, but I'm thinking like an executive here. I'm just glad they didn't go with Ron Perlman, the Chris MacDonald to Brown's Bruce Campbell. I know there was a lot of talk about Perlman doing the Goon, and while I love Perlman, it would just cause people to confuse it with Hellboy. #spiderman4

    @disatess: Clancy Brown as Lobo would make me tolerate a PG-13, though I am still hoping for an R. Lobo needs the freedom to rip off body parts that a PG-13 can't offer.

    The Kurgan is just such a perfect choice for Lobo, I hope they don't mess this up. #spiderman4

    I just started watching Chuck on DVD (finished Season 1).

    So good! So much better than crap like Dollhouse and FlashForward.

    Stuff actually happens every episode!

    The main character can act and his character is interesting!

    So in the Heroes clip, there is a guy (waiter) that walks behind HRG twice that walks and has the body type of Sylar. We never saw what Sylar looked like in that episode so long ago. But my guess is that he posed as a waiter to find out what power the girl had and then did his thing once he figured it out. And Hiro and Andro (sp) walk in and sit down in a booth in the background while HRG is talking to his partner.

    Very interesting and loaded clip.. #spiderman4

    Why is it Smallville can get some things right (like the look of Krypton in the pics above, harkening back to the movies) and everything else so maddeningly wrong (like not having him become Superman beyond all logic and reason at this point)? #spiderman4

    @TemporalSword: They don't have the rights to Superman. He simply can't ever become him on Smallville- but even the show's creators could never have dreamed it would last this long. #spiderman4

    @John Hazard: I don't think that's right. They've used everything from the Superman mythos except for his suit at this point, and I'm pretty sure I've never seen them say they specifically don't own the rights to the character (it's made by WB, which does have the rights, for now). I'm pretty sure they could not have gotten his far without them. They made the rule "no flight, no tights" from the get-go, and I think they're sticking with it, which has caused most of the inconsistencies.

    @TemporalSword: you know what? After a quick google I can't find any backup of my copyright statement. It's just something I remembered, but I don't know it for fact. However, it is entirely possible for someone to own the rights to one part of a character, but not all of their mythos. For example, the Siegels won the rights to compensation for the use of some parts of Superman, based on what Jerry Siegel created before he was a work-for-hire artist. So for instance they got Krypton, but not Kryptonite! #spiderman4
