@MurphyRucker: Oh, heavens no. He was much more prolific than that. He wrote for The Night Stalker and his novels "Stir of Echoes" "Somewhere in Time" "Hell House" and "What Dreams May Come" all had film adaptations. Particularly Somewhere in Time is one of my absolute favorite time travel books.

The skiffiest bit of this entry is "Seattle subway system."

Also, I once dragged some family to the Bradbury just so that I could photograph it. There are photos of me there, and I still squee a little to see myself against all that wrought iron.

@Madeline Ashby: it's the Seattle underground - the historic tunnels and basements that used to be the ground floors of some downtown buildings when the city was new. Cool place, but no subway or immortal beings.

@BeowulfRex: Sorry everyone, I've got to take responsibility for this. I read "Seattle Underground", assumed that was analagous to the London Underground, and...well, I'm sure you can see how things devolved from there. It's fixed now.
