    I absolutely adore Tarkovsky's 'Solaris'. That said, I really didn't think that the remake was that bad at all.

    @dlomax: The Solaris remake was excellent. Tarkovsky's version is a masterpiece but Soderbergh injected his own stylistic and thematic perspectives in an otherwise non approachable film and created something equally cerebral. Love it or leave it.

    @Nexus6: Also, Clooney is hotter than the guy in the original, and the remake isn't 5 hours long and in Russian.
