    Sounds similar to the so called "gang stalking" phenomenon. People think they are being constantly observed by some secret cabal that has almost everyone in their immediate vicinity watching them.

    I love that movie. Wayyy underrated.


    Back on topic, people have good reason to fear this, in some cases. I saw something recently (on boingboing I believe) about a proposed reality show in which they would lure fugitives to a certain location by telling them they won a prize, then film the police capturing them.

    @Dormouse II: The Wrath of Gryphon: I know that is actually done. I remember something in LA I belive it was where they told fugitives that they won a boat and just grabbed them as they came in. I think it was on Dateline. A reality show would be that much better.
