100 Hulks Smash For Charity
This particularly angry rendition of the Hulk by Ron Garney is part of a collection of 100 pieces (What is the collective term for multiple gamma-irradiated monsters, anyway? A gaggle? A smash?) created by some of the comic industry's biggest names - as well as some lesser-known artists with a particular connection to Bruce Banner's alter-ego - for an upcoming auction to benefit the Hero Initiative, a charity set up to provide support to retired comic creators in financial need. The artists were each given special editions of the first issue of the current Hulk series by Marvel Comics, and let loose to illustrate them as they saw fit, with the results to be auctioned off on eBay, as well as published in a charity collection later this year. We've chosen some of our favorites for you. More »
