Oh, Val Kilmer... Whatever happened to your career?
You're walking a dangerous line between taking a few crap roles to help pay off your second mortgage, and full-on Sci-Fi Channel Original Movie dignity-shattering oblivion.
Global warming is scary enough even without this sci-fi premise. Still it's an interesting idea. What if thawing ancient carcasses release old diseases?
But given how our civilization has reacted so far to both epidemics and global warming, my guess is it won't be very fast paced or movie-like at all. Just read Hot Zone and follow it up with Inconvenient Truth.
So, you get Val Kilmer down to his fighting weight, hire him for one day of shooting so you can stick him in the trailer and make it look like he's the star, get the budget to shoot on location, get effects, makeup, and Iceman for your movie, then when you get ready to introduce it to the world you hand them a sub YouTube quality video with TIMECODE on some of the shots!?! Nice.
Boy between this and "...of the dead" it's a real red letter day for Voltage films, whoever they are.
