I'd rush out and get a copy immediately, Charlie Jane, were it not for your Knight Rider fetish, which gives me pause.

Please assure me that this is actually GOOD and not so bad that it's good... if ya know what I mean.

@RRich: I never claimed Knight Rider was good, or even that it was so bad it was good... I just include it in morning spoilers occasionally becuase it makes me laugh. And because I figure some of our readers might, possibly, like it.

@draconismoi: Agreed. Seriously, the idea of how it begins sounds a lot like the first episode of Sliders. Quinn is trying to get his machine to work, finds out it is a portal to another universe, gets a visit from another Quinn who tells him to go for it, but he messes up and ends up "sliding" from universe to universe, trying to get home. Something like that And then the damn Cro-Mags show up...
