    Who wants to give me a top ten list for the original series? Or point me towards a reliable one?


    I've only seen a handful of TOS, but am trying to fix that before the movie - just saw "Mirror Mirror" for the first time last night, and I now appreciate The Middleman's "Palindrome Reversal Palindrome" so much more! The FatBoy logo with the sword through it! Ahahaha...


    Anyway, I welcome a must-see list for TOS, please, kthx.

    You know, my worst ST movie is not TMP. It's ST V. Not only the story is terrible terrible terrible, not only Spock suddenly has a half-brother, not only the whole god thing is total crap, but it was directed by Shatner. Come on, he was a minimally decent actor in his youth, but he sucked big time as the director of ST V. The only good line in that movie, that I can recall, is "Why does god need a spaceship?"


    My ranking of ST movies, in case anyone cares at all:


    1) Wrath of Khan

    2) The Voyage Home

    3) First Contact

    = big void here between 3 and 4 =

    4) The Motion Picture

    5) The Undiscovered Country

    6) The Search For Spock

    = huge void here between 6 and 7 =

    7) Insurrection

    8) Generations

    = even larger void here between 8 and 9 =

    9) Nemesis

    = infinitely large void here between 9 and 10 =

    10) The Final Frontier

    the deciding factor will be in how they disguise the hardcoded boundaries of openspace.


    I also hope the ships are more than just empty hulls (Mass Effect). I want to click everything. I want chirps, zhirls, and beeblops. I want to go to engineering and BREAK things.


    Yes, that was more directed at Mass Effect 2.

    Eh, Eve is opening up thousands of new stellar systems in March, connected to 'Known Space' (sorry, Larry) by unstable, moving wormholes, containing a newly-resurgent Ancient race, an entirely new tech tree, and more.


    Plus, I've already got 2+ years invested, and I've got a 1-game limit on eCrack.

    This does look really cool, however we're gonna have the same problem WoW has: Uneven factions. A lot more people are gonna opt for the federation rather than the klingons... Then again, that means klingon players will probably be hardcore, which really does fit in with the the Trek feel anyway :P


    Ever way, this looks different enough that it could get me away from Warcraft.
