    Simple. Have Jean wake up, saying, "What a silly, poorly-scripted, puerile, nonsensical, fanboy-fueled dream I just had..." Scott would then wake, gently nuzzle her, and they'd share a relieved giggle and spoon each other until they fall back asleep.

    Thus X3 would be deservedly wiped from the Earth.

    I hope this is integrated into the overall Marvel universe, like the Iron Man and Hulk movies. That would be kind of awesome.
