This is so many kinds of awesome. I hate McFarlane, I don't give a damn about Spawn, and I despise DiCrapio. Hollywood should bundle up all the things that don't interest me into a single movie that I don't need to watch more often!
@pABSO: Haha. Earl Simmons? He's Al's older brother - an R&B singer so infuriated by the rise of smooth jazzy pop that he makes a deal with satan and returns to earth with an evil suit and one goal - to kill John Mayer.
@c0dek: You might also enjoy What's Eating Gilbert Grape, for the scenes of brotherly love between DiCrapio and Depp (frankly, that was the only scene I found even remotely interesting in that movie, but it was worth watching it once for that alone).
@Garrison Dean: R.O.A.C.H.: Hey, and while you're at it Todd... I think you can get Scorsese to direct and maybe friggin Beethoven to do the score!!! HAAAHAA.
Spawn represented what I loathed with comics in the 90s. Flash art with no substance in story. I didn't even like the art, as everyone drawn by McFarlane looks horribly disfigured...or looks like putty. I never understood the appeal of Spawn other than cool looking monsters.
