    Meh. I'm looking forward to this episode, but I'm not sure I want Supernatural to be the one lecturing me about the current state of prime time television and its "lack of originality," especially when it's the one doing a parody show. #transformers

    I am gonna watch that secret video on my Transformers BD and comment about it later, but it's good to know he wants to go deeper into Transformer lore, hopefully into the who built the Trasformers are and the Cube. #transformers

    @JaiMak: The thing that bothers me about actors like Megan fox complaining that they don't get a lot of talkie time over the Transformers fighting and talkig has always bothered me. Trasformers is about robots and their human companions and fighting, which includes blowing shit up, which Michael Bay is exceptionally good at. There was a lot wrong with RoTF but it is still a good watch, and even though I knew OP was gonna die, my mouth still dropped because the whole scene was just incredibly executed and he played up OP's strength by himself.

    I hope he kills off Mega Fox in TF3, it will set the tone for the whole movie and it sounds like he really wants to explore the deeper scifi roots of the series with Mini-cons. With all the flack he gets for being a hack director I have always been entertained by his movies, but it sounds like he's taking thigs to heart and wants to move away from 'splosions and robo-balls. #transformers

    Uh, isn't the fact the Doctor is getting a robot companion in and of itself a spoiler? Now when that robot appears it won't be as big as a delight as it would've been. I've come to expect better spoiler control from io9 so I am disappointed by this. #transformers

All the other sites were just putting the images on the front page and saying "meet Doctor Who's new robot friend" and stuff, and the BBC was pimping the robot guy pretty hard. But it's true that it's a spoiler and we should have avoided giving it away in a headline. Sorry about that! If it helps, I don't think the robot appears in more than one episode -- he's a one-off. #transformers

    @Charlie Jane Anders: Thanks for the response. I only check out io9 for my sci-fi fix so I haven't seen any other pix any where and I haven't looked at the ones here either so for all I know the robot could a cyborg that looks human to a goofy looking roboticized dog. Ahh, poor K-9, how the Australians have destroyed your dignity.

    @reddingofish: I really got the impression that this week's episode could have taken place anytime in the first dozen episodes. It didn't feel like it had happened early on like the other eps.

    The saddest thing about the alleged troubles of Fringe is that the only thing Fox is playing on Tuesdays now is "So You Think You Can Dance." A show usually aired during the summer. Now ABC is airing V on that slot, and I'll tune in to watch because my Tuesdays are literally barren. And Fringe will keep losing out viewers to shows like Grey's, The Office, 30 Rock, and all the other contenders of a strong Thursday lineup. I'm still going to watch live, and I'll still keep the channel on the show and support as much as I can, but I'm bracing myself now. I've realized that the car I'm in will not stop in time, and the crash is inevitable. The last time I watched a Fox show without caution, I got burned real bad, and that was in middle school, with a show called "Fastlane." Goddamn you FOX, goddamn you! #transformers

    As the weeks pass I was starting to get kind of annoyed with the END OF TENNANT TEN-INCH I NEED TO CHEER UP CAN I READ THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL sentiment, but actually I've turned completely around. The more the sadness and hype is made a huge deal for his departure (which is admittedly sad, he is one fun and magnetic presence) I will actually be able to feel more removed from it and be more than ready for WhoBabies (I kid, I kid!)

    Anyone expecting a shred of emotion or even anything above the level of "shit" writing in Transformers 3 is going to be VERY disappointed.

    It is like McG with Terminator Salvation - you can hype and lie and tell all kinds of various stories about how it is going to be very story based and keep the mythos of the original 2 films going, and then even make the trailers look great, but then once you see the film it is just a big fat smelly turd in a nice, shining box. It's all based on lies. #transformers

    Noooo... I don't wanna see SGU stills. It is hard enough to avoid commercials about the next episode and figure out the plot and conclusion. Add in some apparent deception by Rush, some childish behavior from Eli and Scott, and Col Yonge to smooth it all out, but with a hint of doubt. Yay, I already seen next weeks SGU! #transformers
