The T3 clip would have made the film worthwhile only to connect the eventual emergence of skynet and the brutality of machine warfare to today's developments where drones are being used in the most ethically questionable, but also counterproductive fashion in Afghanistan.
So the first two were the scenes too crappy for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? How did the poor editor choose? I wonder if he ever contemplated taking his old job back, editing the boring scenes out of fishing shows.
Why does Ten Forward look so small in that Nemesis clip? I realize that the Enterprise E was smaller in terms of crew compliment than D, but that looked no bigger than the retrofitted galley on Voyager.
@EdificeComplex:
It looked the same size because it was the same set, and it wasn't Ten Forward, it was just an officer's lounge. Ten Forward was the size it was because it served three times as many people, on a much larger ship.
Leia and Solo making out was pretty much the only actual sexual expression out of the entire Star Wars Saga (the green slave girl's boob and Leia slave girl outfit doesn't count.) Might have done Lucas a world of good if he added some sex to Star Wars. No wonder they needed clones.
As for Sgt William Candy, I'm glad they cut it. That was pretty stupid especially when Candy sounds like what one would consider the stereotype of a Southern fried idiot.
@Wookie1972: The first time I saw it I immediately wished it had been in the movie. There were already enough bad jokes, this one certainly couldn't have been considered over the top.
Some of those are awesome!!! The Terminator one ive seen before. What a crazy ass clip.
Now I know I might turn a few people here....but Watchmen was amazing. I personally cant wait for the super-duper extended edition. This scene was left out and I think its absolutly beautiful and tragic all in the same go!!!
@CoffinDodger (If the typos crap. Blame my keyboard): A lot of "official" postings on YouTube block embedding now because the embedded players code can be exploited to download copies of the video. Disabling embedding also prevents websites like KeepVid from snagging downloadable links.
@CyberSlug Labs: Why have the link there in the first place then??? Its a borrowed code. Nothing more. Rather than blocking safe users who just want to add the link to a safe legit website. Why cant they just find a better way of stopping the downloads!!
Another thing that pissed me off was something so trivial that its worth overlooking once. But hundreds!! Thats just not cricket. I tried to watch an Iron Maiden vid on youtube and it said 'sorry not available in your country'. Im sorry WHAT!! Iron Maiden is british fuckin metal band. I can understand an american vid not playing over here. It happens a lot with ther MTV player and that I can live with. But blocking UK users from watching UK stuff!! Eh!!!????
God I hated Wanted. For many reasons, though the notion mentioned above about becoming a (nihilistic) ubermensch and subsequently treating everyone else like disposable meat bags for target practice bothered me the most.
And that last line: "What have you done?" Well, I haven’t dehumanized people around me to the point where I can kill scores of them for my own dubious ends and then imply I’m a hero for it. If that’s what you’re getting at.
@Supernatural_Canary: Yeah, the actual graphic novel had a much more sensible reason for the last line and the general dehumanization: rather than a "righteous" assassin, the main character is just a selfish supervillain whose power is killing people.
I've heard the authors did approve the storyline of the movie, so I guess it's their right to mess with the story, but leaving in that last line makes their "hero" still seem like a jerk-off villain.
@kagekiri: Hmmm… that’s interesting. I haven’t read the graphic novel, so it could very well be that the context of that line (and of the character, it appears) didn’t translate very well to the screen.
I could certainly live with the character being a villain, and now that you point out what he was like in the graphic novel, I wish that’s what they had done in the film. But the fact that the movie made it seem as though he was righteous in his actions repulsed me.
I watched Knowing maybe two months ago, and I must have blocked it to protect my memory of that crapfest, because I don't remember absolutely anything about the movie. Only telling my mom not to watch it under any circumstances.
@madara: Apparently I trusted my crap-blocking capabilities to do the trick, as they did. I'll take it into account the next time something makes me want to rip my eyes out
@Dirk Anger: EDIT: Whoops, wrong movie. Knowing is about how Nic Cage is enough of a genius to figure out Earth is going to be destroyed, just in time to do jack shit about it. Also, kids go to an alien planet and there are vague, shitty references to religion.

Mikekearn says hello was starred
Mikekearn says hello was unstarred
@The Mikekearn of La Mancha: Ahh I remember now, and Nic stalks the mother of some other kid, they find numbers that are dates of disasters and numbers of deaths... now I remember everything. Damn you!
