@Bill-Lee: What hype machine is that? Cameron has been on lockdown with his movie for two years, giving up almost nothing. All "hype" has been generated by fans and sites like this one based on a photo here and there and not much else.
@AngriestGeek: Google Cameron. He's given a dozen talks and a bunch of interviews in the past year where he's raved that Avatar will change the movie industry completely and dissolve your brain in your skull, etc. And fans read that stuff and get more and more worked up about it. That's what people are referring to. Cameron has been mega-hyping this movie to anyone who will listen.
@AngriestGeek: Yeah, I would say Cameron has been unusually silent. And, if my theory about bad movies is correct (REALLY long and detailed trailers are a sign the movie is bad) then this one will be great.
Am I the only one who wasn't bowled over by SGU? I didn't feel like I got anything new out of the panel. I'm still looking forward to it, but not any more than I was before Friday morning.
Well, from IO9's coverage, I'm definitely more psyched about Avatar, District 9, and SGU (But I was already and forever will be psyched for a Stargate installment). I saw the trailer for the Holmes film before HP, and I think that has more to do with my level of excitement for that film than anything else does. V - blah.

Yeah, I would disagree, but I accept that's subjective.
By the way, did FRINGE even bother showing up?

I, however, was not disappointed by this good bit of news.
