    OK, bigtime Tron Nerd here, gotta speak up.


    1: If you look at photos of the original movie's suits, they're almost as simple, structure-wise, with the designs drawn on in black marker sometimes! Others were silkscreened. Now, I doubt that the new film will be rotoscoped like the first one, but the idea of simple suits on stage with flashy 'stuff' added later seems like a TRON way to do it, no?


    2: Not 100% sold that this is in fact a Tron 2 costume. I'd think that Disney would be a bit more careful.


    3: Wanna see Tronguy in a cameo for this film; he can be an office worker in the real world, a derezzed victim, whatever. Give the dude his props.

    @I_Like_Rabbits: I think there was a previous post that said that Tron 2 (aka TR2N aka 2RON aka PRON aka (ok I stop)) was going to be a little more "adult" in tone. Whether or not this includes said babes in said skank outfits will remain to be seen.

    @t3knomanser: I agree. In CG (Does anyone even say "CGI" anymore?) the actors bodies are probably going to be crawling with scrolling, glowing symbols and continuously changing circuit lines. Objects, a la T2, will bloom out of their skins.


    I notice the white bands might be that highly reflective stuff they used in the first movie. That might be a nod to the old style and also allows the actors to join up their tops, bottoms, boots and gloves without an obvious seam.

    @corpore-metal: You would think that they wouldn't walk around in those CGI (yes I say CGI) suits. Considering the suit they used for Dr. Manhattan, I would imagine some of them can get quite costly. Any spilled Cinnebon would probably disrupt any calibration.

    @t3knomanser: @NotArthurPDragon: Guys we don't know what it is. Motion Capture or not, it's still adorably unitardy. I am on the side of thinking they wouldn't let extras bop off set in the suits, but hey maybe that's it. I'm more interested in the headband truth be known.
