Come on, Moffet. If you can bring back a villain that should be trapped permanently, bring back the gal who pretty much got them there in the first place.
Having seen the trailer for [REC]² I am definitely less worried. Things we've heard before made it sound like they were going to make a big budget schlockfest...but we're back in the same building, and it looks like some of the same people are still undead. I'm definitely intrigued, although my Italian is far too poor to understand what they're saying.
Blink is one of my all time favorite Dr. Who episodes, but it wasn't just because of the angels. Still, unless there is a very good reason to bring them back and a stellar script, this seems like a terrible idea.
@evildead1971: As long as they don't play on the romance. That was what was so refreshing about Donna. A long-termmale companion would be nice too, for a change.
I'm not set against the 11th by any means. I still miss the 9th -- one series wasn't enough. David Tennant was just exceptional in the role. He nailed the breezy casual thing.
@Atomsmoosher: I still can't believe I'm having as hard a time as I am not imagining Chiwetel Ejiafor in the role. Damn, he would have been absolutely perfect. -sobs-
@Atomsmoosher: I'm like the only person on Earth that's "meh" on Tennant. He was very inconsistent in tone (much of that came from the scripts, which were often uneven), and his portrayal was so: "I have ENNUI! I AM EMOtional."
When Tennant was goofy, he was great. The rest of the time, feh.
@Scienceofsound55: i think you mean he is basing his Doctor on Patrick Troughton the 2nd Doctor. Rob Shearman, he who wrote "Dalek." mentioned it in an interview somewhere recently.
It seems to me that is SGU did things in a more typically "Stargate" way, it might not suck so much. The best part about "Stagate" was that it gave you people to cheer for. But the characters on Destiny can stay on the other side of the universe as far as I'm concerned.
Once before I would have been interested in Cameron doing Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm.
But with Avatar, Titanic, and Dark Angel, I'm worried.
Granted this film isn't for me, the hard core BAA fan. I just hope it doesn't get too mired in some long drawn out sappy love plot between Alita and Doc Ido.
Concerning Dollhouse, I love the new breakneck speed with the doubleshot of episodes per Friday.

Anyone wanna know how bad those angels terrify me? Haha.

I have "The angels have the phonebox" and "Whatever you do, don't blink!" on two t-shirts. =)
Absolutely love that episode.

I mean, I talk about this series as a steaming pile of crap, but they show me that ring for a half second and I am SO there....
