    @Makidian: Something tells me that Alt-Walt might be instrumental in the Alt-U's war against Our-U, motivated by the theft of his son. Something along the lines of "You stole my son, now I'm going to destroy your universe."

    As if Marvel actually cares about Fahir returning to the Iron Man sequel. They replaced an actor for a core character, they can easily replace a minor character, who's undoubtedly a henchman.

    Am I the only one exited about the Game of Thrones HBO series? I ask because I don't see much news for it outside of George R.R. Martin fan sites. Maybe it's outside the more sci-fi oriented scope of io9.com.

    Anyway, they finished up photography in Scotland and Morocco for the pilot yesterday, and everything I'm hearing makes it sound like it was a very positive shoot. That said, it could be as late as March (though it'll likely be sooner) before we hear whether or not HBO is ordering more episodes.

    @atrus123: No, I'm totally looking forward to it. To be honest, I never read the books for some reason, but when I first heard about the series, I was instantly intrigued. Hope HBO doesn't screw it up...(Sorry, I'm still bitter about Deadwood & Rome.)

    @atrus123: I found out about THE GAME OF THRONES after I started watching episodes of NEW AMSTERDAM at Hulu. I never saw the show on TV, and liked the first 3-4 episodes that I watched. I liked Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

    Three hours of "Chuck" in one week? Oh, momma! Bring it on!

    I'm trusting the writers to keep Chuck (the character) likable and relatable even though the Intersect has the potential to make him an action hero god.

    @ProfessorSara: I'm a little concerned with all the "new romantic interest" action that's supposed to be happening, but like you I'm going to trust in the writers.

    Plus I'll watch pretty much anything with Adam Baldwin and Zachary Levi.

    Except in the alternate universe, Khan was already rescued and owns a salon in Queens called "Botany Bay Hair Stylings."

    Not good news on V. You can't keep up that kind of pace. The best shows build up to something big, then take a step back to let you catch your breath. Trying to be all excitement all the time lessens the impact and doesn't give the audience time to assimilate and appreciate big events.
