    @TomSkylark: If the tweens can't handle the heat, I'm sure Hot Topic will put up a board for them or something. Besides, we aren't going to Twilight boards (Gah, can you imagine? It'd be like Digg and MySpace's love child) and commenting. This is a site that loves it some movies, and books, and comics, and games... but when someone comes along and says 'Well, they're vampires, but not really, because we're changing their weaknesses, and their powers, and we're putting them in jailbait romances (what exactly is the 'May-December' equivilent when the difference is in decades or centuries?), and basically crossing Dawson's Creek with $GenericVerySpecialEpisode.'. We're not afraid of some camp (See: Jan in the Pan.) but we're not afraid of calling out a hack, either.

    Why not? You guys are just as bad as the teenyboppers complaining that he's not pretty enough to be Edward. The reviews aren't criticizing his acting, so he must have done a decent job and he seems like a astute bloke (or so I'm lead to believe from the few quotes he's said about the books).

    Oh, wild. They have a kit just like this at a museum around Philadelphia. I went there when I was in middle school, but can't for the life of me remember its name (though I'm fairly sure it's not the Mutter Museum).

    They have one of these in the Mercer Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, where I used to go from time to time as a kid. I remember thinking that it was just the COOLEST thing ever, and how much I just desperately wanted to steal it, run away from home, and become a professional vampire hunter.
