It seems the Fringe TPTB figured out how crappy Agent Bible Bimbo was and decided not to use her any more. (Although you'd think they would have noticed that in the dailies.)
They're being politic and polite and disingenuous in saying "oh, maybe later" rather than the truth of "wow, we f'ed up, she sucks, we won't use her again."
Now alt-Charlie looked badass, and Olivia meeting up with him again would really mess with her head. #inception
I finally watched the previous week's Flash Forward last night and I know where I have heard Joseph Fiennes' strange American accent: sometimes he sounds just like Christopher Lambert in Highlander!
It was cute how his wife called him Shakespeare when he as talking with an English accent then it reminded me of Shakespeare in Love and I felt a little sick. #inception
Wait! Didn't Smallville already establish that Ollie taught himself bows and arrows on the deserted island? Oh, that damned continuity business again... #inception
Fringe seems to have introduced Agent Jessup and then just completely forgotten about her. I really wish they'd either bring her in more, or bring her in and kill her, so that it's not just an open plot that will never be touched on again. The whole bible thing was shown like it was something important, and now it's just gone. #inception
When I read Caine say "I play a professor who's teaching a guy science" I thought he was saying there's a "guy science" and I immediately wondered what that would be. #inception
so... sylar doesnt remember who he is, but evil sylar "lives" in matt's head. while the writers stole the idea from stark trek 3 the search for spock, they put their own twist on it by making it evil sylar #inception
Here's a few quick Fringe questions - have we found out if there is an alternate Olivia running around? Would she be evil? Would an evil Olivia have dark hair in place of the traditional "evil twin" goatee? #inception
@AngryEddy: Scar Charlie and alternate Broyles knew her when she visited so there must be one. But where's the William Bell with the goatee? #inception
@AngryEddy: I'm waiting to find out how the other Walter feels about having his son kidnapped. Seeing as how Walter A is smart enough, and motivated enough, to figure out how to get to the other world to steal Peter B, you'd think Walter B would be capable of doing the same.
I just had a thought, based on Temporalsword and AngryEddy's comments. The other universe is much more technologically advanced than ours, and a lot scarier with some morally questionable things going on. Maybe that world's Walter never got put away- his attitudes toward science (let's hook up some kids' brains to electrodes and drug them and see what happens!) could have molded a technologically superior universe with some terrifying consequences for humanity.
We all love Walter, and we have been steered towards blaming William Bell for the badness, but I am betting that Walter was the bad guy back then. Being insitutionalized broke him and made him timid, without completely dulling his massive intellect, which makes him vulnerable enough for us to like him.
Other Walter never got put away, was never diminished in his intellect or his thirst for knowledge at any cost, and has had his son stolen away. William Bell may have learned what Walter A did and went to the other universe to try to prevent backlash, probably killing his alternate self so he could remain there all this time. Wow. The only problem I have with this is I was loving the idea of Nimoy playing the bad guy. #inception
@BlueBeard: MAN! you got it figured out. And now it seems so obvious......I had been thinking that since its all been kept so vauge and combined with the potential of twists, the core mystery/war would carry on for several seasons with the ultimate reveal being that WalterA is actually the bad guy, PeterB who is now PeterA is in on the whole thing and Olivia is the prize/sacrifice.
But I like what you just said, makes way more sense. #inception
@AngryEddy: Also have we heard anything about what happened to Peter's mother? Is she alive? Did she disappear when new Peter came to this universe? Is there a consequence/cost of transporting someone from the other side a la Fullmetal Alchemist? #inception
@TemporalSword: heh, you and me both- You should hear my thoughts on BSG and Lost that will never, ever happen.
@mosquitosBuzzz: I do think Walter A was the bad guy, but that he currently is not. He is as we see him, a broken and repentant man who has done terrible things. Walter B is a terrible man with an axe to grind, watch out for him. I doubt Peter (there is only one, so need to quantify him) has anything to do with this "war" just yet. He is a bystander, and possibly the unwitting instigator.
@Belabras ate my dingo!: I totally forgot about that, but it very well could have been Walter B toying with his rival to prevent him from effectively resisting the convergence.
The more I think about it I am sure William Bell is going to be the good guy, risking his life to cross over and save our universe. As for B Charlie, I could care less, I lost interest in him once he started crying to the internet that they didn't renew his contract before they renewed it. Midriff-baring Olivia B is going to be quite interesting. I wonder if Bell contacted her as an adult and recruited her. We shouldn't assume she is evil, as we really haven't seen a "mirror darkly" evil twin yet unless I am right about Walter. Again, both Walters were pretty "evil" until one pissed off the other, making him more evil and then got himself institutionalized tempering his evil. (once again, using my theoretical B Walter.)
@BlueBeard: Yeah, but why wouldn't Walter B just come get Peter back? It's not like he's in hiding. If they're more advanced -- and they do have agents in our midst who should know where Peter and Walter A are -- then why don't they take him back? #inception
@lukeoneil47: Maybe the reason Walter B hasn't tried to get Peter back is because the whole situation plays into something bigger... Maybe getting Peter back before would have disrupted things somehow. Maybe there's some other reason why Peter couldn't be taken back. Didn't Bell tell Olivia she'll need Peter at her side? It makes it seem like his loyalties could be up for grabs if and when he learns the truth about where he's actually from...
@lukeoneil47: @AngryEddy: I'm going with; Walter B didn't know what happened to his Peter until later. By the time he figured out what happened to his son, and then figured out how to get him back (let's face it, even a mad scientist doesn't jump straight from missing child to alternate universe abduction), Peter was too old to uproot and traumatize with a change in universe- not to mention the danger of pulling him through once again, which they have said is not a very safe process.
The prospect of reuniting with his child at the cost of his son's sanity or health seems an unacceptable risk. This leaves revenge. Up until today, I had thought Walter A may have killed Walter B, but I am loving the idea of Walter B being the ultimate villain of this story. #inception
@BlueBeard: I'm dying to see Walter B in action... I gotta believe that without the experiences in the looney bin to make him develop a bit of guilt and reflection, he's one seriously focused son of a bitch. #inception
Argh! Don't use the Torchwood picture unless there are Torchwood spoilers! I get excited for nothing! And I start using excessive punctuation! #inception
@PostMarque: After I read The Road, my wife asked me if she'd like it.
Our daughter was 4 months old at the time, and all I could think of is the scene in the book where they find a campsite...I told her she probably wouldn't want to read it. #inception

There's been some speculation that the Evil Walter is the source of the "war" on our reality. I think that's cool and makes a lot of sense, too.
