now see, i can totally justify spending 300 smakers on something like this. an xbox or a playstation? no. not really (let alone 400). granted they have to perfect it a bit, but it'll get there. cool beans.

So... you like Castlevania, don't you?

This article's been live nearly a half day and nobody's mentioned Metal Gear Solid? See what you did? You made Psyscho Mantis cry!

i hope someone i know gets one of these so i can login to their profile and change all their commands to things like 'thinking of a penis' or 'need to poop' or 'staring at a girls ass' then watch them try and play a game.

I like the general sensor style, but couldn't they locate that funky box on the back of the head somewhere else? Like, wire it down to a clip on your belt or something. That looks awkward.

And how will it work for different sized heads? Are they going with one standard size or a couple, or will it be adjustable? I only see what look like a couple hinges up in the front for the forehead.

Is that Thane helping Liara out? Doesn't really seem like his style.

I wish they'd release a character vid for the gal Yvonne Strahovsky is playing. Sarah from Chuck in the ME universe = Everybody wins.

John Jackson Miller and Omar Francia is pretty much a match made in heaven. I read a lot of Star Wars comics and Knights of the Old Republic and Legacy are my two favorites. JJM is a master storyteller and always always leaves little hints in his stories that become significant later on. Omar Francia is an excellent artist, especially when it comes to starships and vehicles. His designs are truly amazing. An excellent writer and a magnificent artist together writing a Mass Effect comic book? Hell yes.

I'm not a big comic book reader but I may have to track these down just to follow Liara's story line. I loved Mass Effect and I think it shows that great science fiction isn't limited to books or movies.

@laikapants: Thanks for the tip. I usually don't buy the special/ultimate/collector's edition of games but I may have to break down for this one. The special armor and weapons alone would be worth $10 to me.

@EdificeComplex: Also, the comic will be DVD box sized but will also come with cover art exclusive to the collector's edition (vs the full sized news stand edition). Semi-not really all that exact details can be found here in the first post: [meforums.bioware.com]

"Excited for the release of Mass Effect 2 next year?"

    Hell yeah!
    Thanks for pages 6 & 7, (I'd seen 1-5 already.)

EDIT: Page 7 says the comic is out on 01/06/2010. Did it move up to 12/30/09?
