I think we can all agree that the pinnacle of his thespian efforts has been Galaxy Quest. I think he depicted every human emotion and aspiration in that one role.
Friendly Fire sounds like the name of a comic book character. He can be a gutsy but clumsy kid who wears a Stark Industries suit and fights bad guys along side Iron Man. He has good intentions, but bad aim.
So Tony Stark gives Rhodes the War Machine suit and Rhodes somehow turns on Tony?
Color me confused ...
Wouldn't Tony have just built some sort of "Bad War Machine" fail safe into the suit so if it ever fell into the wrong hands (or it's operator turned on him) he could remotely shut it down?
part of me is very excited about this, but part of me is still fearful of sequelitis. So we have 1 hero... w/ two allies/foes (Widow and War Machine) w/ one villian (Whiplash) and one quasi villian (Hammer)
I don't know if it was caught at the panel, but Don Cheadle asked to see the footage again. My girlfriend realized that it was because of the questions from the audience were getting nasty towards Scarlett Johanson.
@NerD!!! - R.O.A.C.H.: I know this will sound harsh, but I think Cheadle's Rhodes will be better than Howard's. I just think he's a better actor.
I don't know why ScarJo would be getting so much grief, although I saw in an interview that she has no russian accent at all in the movie, which doesn't seem quite right...
Having been to a few (friends having rented booths for business) it is always a nice atmosphere at the LA expos. It sounds like these douches at ComicCon shouting those things forgot that they weren't at a frat party, Havasu, or a concert.
Good for Cheadle stopping that shit. I have always been excited that he is playing Rhodes.
@solareclipse2: It does sound that way, but in the first film there is the scene where Rhodes looks at one of the prototype armors and says, "Maybe next time." Now that could have been used for purely foreshadowing purposes, or maybe he was able to get Stark to give him one or the armor suits.

"Mr. Stark, shouldn't we wait for Mr. Rhodes?"
Stark (angrily): "Rhodes? Where we're going, we don't need Rhodes."
You're welcome Jon Favreau.

Let me guess Hammer gives rhodes the means to take on Tony , even though he was villain in the comics. And Rhodes was never that much and idiot .

I should clarify that the questions being asked were more along the lines of "Show me your tits"
The day before there was an embarrassing panel for the movie Johah Hex where a couple of people asked some horrible questions to Megan Fox.
It's the kind of thing that gives Comic-con a bad reputation.
