This idea is flawed. Considering the average North American has a carbon footprint of 20 tons CO2 equiv per year and the global average is 4 tons CO2 equiv per year [www.eoearth.org] ,the minuscule amount of nitrogen that becomes locked within your cells in your lifetime can not come close to making up for the amount of carbon released. Joke all you want about how fat Americans are, but none of us are 20 tons, and that would be if we had 100% nitrogen body composition and lived for only one year, plus fat people make a lot of methane, which is even worse than CO2. Even then, at some point the nitrogen will be released into the air, it just takes a while.

@Pope John Peeps II: Why do you insist on breaking into my brain and stealing my ideas for tomorrow?

Or, at least, skipping the part where increasing the number of organisms (and larger organisms=more nitrogen sequestration) on Earth increases the amount of nitrogen sequestration and reduces atmospheric pressure, cooling the surface temperature of the Earth?

@Megan: Oh but come on. You're putting us on. They don't even mention that. There's no real cooling effect mentioned. This isn't a possible or anywhere near viable solution to global warming. It's all there in the linked article. You know that!
